Introduction

Fort Lauderdale is a fun, vibrant city that draws tourists from all over the world. From relaxing on the beach to partying at night, there are plenty of things to do in Fort Lauderdale. If you're looking for an active trip with lots of activities and attractions, then Fort Lauderdale might be a good fit for you! Here's a list of some of my favorite things to do in Ft. Lauderdale:

Set sail on a luxury yacht

If you're looking to cruise around on the water and enjoy a luxury experience, consider booking a trip on one of Fort Lauderdale's many luxury yachts. These boats are great for families, as they can accommodate up to 20 people in comfort.

The price will depend on the number of guests, but you can expect to pay 200perpersonforaneveningsailor200 per person for an evening sail or 300 per person for lunch and dinner cruises. If you want something more private and exclusive, there are deluxe yacht charters that cost between 3,0003,000-9,000 an hour (a full day will likely cost between 10k10k-20k).

Visit the Bonnet House Museum

The Bonnet House Museum, located at 1234 SW 17th Terrace, is a museum that was constructed in 1926 as the former home of the Bonnet family. The museum consists of two buildings: the main house and an annex that was originally built to serve as a garage in 1931. The main house has been restored to reflect its original appearance with period-appropriate furnishings and memorabilia from the 1920s and 1930s. The interior includes beautiful woodworking details from its construction such as oak paneling on walls and ceilings, beamed ceilings throughout much of the first floor with crown molding above doorways separating rooms within each wing. There are also striking chandeliers hung throughout both levels along with light fixtures designed by Tiffany Studios found throughout most rooms including bathrooms!

The exhibits within include photography collected over time by members past & present who have worked there; paintings by local artists; Florida history artifacts including an old school desk used during World War II when school children were mobilized for war efforts overseas; period clothing worn during those years as well - including dresses worn by women back then before they became more casual once again after WWII ended (you'll see this reflected clearly during your visit).

Go indoor skydiving at iFLY

You'll be dropped off at iFLY, the world's largest vertical wind tunnel. Each visitor receives instruction from a professional instructor, who will teach them how to fly like a bird and safely experience this unique type of flight. There are multiple packages available that offer different experiences; some include flights with friends or family members, while others allow you to practice by yourself in the tunnel before indulging in your desired activity.

The best part about indoor skydiving? It's completely safe! You'll be wearing an inflatable suit that keeps you afloat and allows for controlled landings on top of air cushions below the tunnel.

Shop at Sawgrass Mills Mall

Located in Sunrise, Sawgrass Mills Mall is the largest outlet mall in the United States with over 300 stores. It's also a great place to visit if you're looking for some good deals on designer brands. There's even an indoor amusement park and museum called LEGOLAND Discovery Center, where kids can spend hours playing with their favorite LEGO toys. Plus, it's only 20 minutes away from Fort Lauderdale! The mall is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 9 pm.

See Santa at November and December Christmas events

The holiday season is a time to spend with family and friends, so why not make it an unforgettable experience? Fort Lauderdale has several Christmas events that you can attend to get into the spirit!

One of them is Santa's Workshop, where kids can meet with Santa Claus himself. They have different packages depending on how much time your child wants to spend with him or her. You can also buy gifts for your loved ones here!

Another thing that you should check out is Santa's Post Office---it's like an actual post office but with more Santa Claus statues everywhere (which are pretty cool). Kids can write letters there, too! If you want your letter delivered personally by this jolly man himself, then go ahead and send it here! Many other things are going on inside this building as well; check out Santa's Reindeer and Sleigh ride nearby if it interests you!

Catch a game at BB&T Center

BB&T Center is a multi-purpose arena in Sunrise, Florida, United States. It is home to the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League. The arena opened in 1998 and has since hosted over 2,000 events.

Butterfly World is a great place to take children and families; they have over 5 acres of tropical plants, flowers, trees, ponds, and waterfalls which provide an ideal habitat for hundreds of butterflies from all over the world. The park also has plenty of interactive activities where you can learn more about these colorful creatures while feeding them or even holding them!

  • Art Galleries. Fort Lauderdale's Arts District is home to the city's largest concentration of art galleries, including the oldest in Florida, The Gallery of Art and Design.

  • Dance Studios. A short distance from the galleries is dance studios where you can learn tap or ballet!

  • Music Venues. In addition to live music venues like Culture Room and Revolution Live (which hosts larger acts), smaller ones like Peacock Room host indie bands and singer-songwriters.
